Customer visit tracking with GPS proof of every visit

Pin each customer’s location once. From then on, every check-in shows when your rep arrived, how long they stayed and how far they were from the pin — so a visit report is a record, not a claim.

  • Distance from pin on every visit
  • Import customers from CSV

Every visit

What PinField records when a rep checks in

Arrival and departure

Exact check-in and check-out times, and the time spent on site.

Distance from the pin

How far the rep’s phone was from the customer’s saved location, in metres.

GPS accuracy

The accuracy of the position at check-in, so a weak signal is never mistaken for a fake visit.

Visit notes

What was discussed or ordered, written by the rep and kept with the visit.

Your customer map

Pin your customers in minutes, not weeks

Visit verification needs to know where each customer is. PinField gives you three ways to get there.

  • Import from a spreadsheet

Upload your customer list as CSV, with coordinates if you already have them.

  • Capture on site

A rep standing at the shop saves its location from their phone — approved automatically or by a manager, your choice.

  • Assign to reps

Give each rep the customers they cover, so their app shows the right list.

Proximity prompts

A nudge at the door, never an automatic entry

When a rep reaches a customer, the app asks whether to start the visit. Visits are recorded only when the rep taps check in, so your visit list contains real, deliberate calls — not every shop they happened to walk past.

  • “You’re near Balaji Medicals. Start visit?” — right on the home screen
  • Full visit history per customer and per rep
  • Visits count toward each rep’s daily summary

FAQ

Visit tracking questions

More answers on the home page and the pricing page.

How does PinField verify a customer visit?

When a rep checks in, PinField records the time and the rep’s GPS position, and works out how far they were from the customer’s pinned location. Check-out records when they left, so you also see time on site.

Are visits logged automatically?

No. When a rep arrives near a customer, the app suggests starting a visit, but a visit is recorded only when the rep taps check in. That keeps your visit records deliberate.

What if a customer’s location isn’t saved yet?

The rep can capture it on site with their phone. Depending on your settings it is approved automatically or waits for a manager to review it.

Can I import my existing customer list?

Yes. Upload customers from a CSV file, including their coordinates if you have them, and assign each customer to the reps who visit them.

Can reps add notes to a visit?

Yes. Reps can add notes to each visit, and they appear alongside the visit’s time, duration and distance from the pin.
